Your Mission

Are you a Freelance HR Legal Counsel and are you looking for a new assignment and role with autonomy, responsibility, and tangible impact within social relations and HR processes?

We are looking for an experienced HR Legal Counsel with a strong passion for social law to strengthen our Social Relations team for a 6-month temporary assignment. The assignment runs from 23 March to 7 September.

You thrive in a dynamic HR environment and act as a trusted sparring partner for colleagues and stakeholders, combining solid legal expertise with a pragmatic and collaborative approach.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• provide various legal advice to HR Business Partners and operational teams
• actively participate in HR projects and social negotiations
• analyse the application of CLA 32bis and support negotiations during clients contract transfers
• draft and update company-level CLAs, work regulations and individual contracts
• monitor social disputes and act as a contact point for external lawyers
• stay up-to-date with social legislation and advise internal stakeholders

You will work from our modern workspaces which are located in the Center of Brussels (next to Brussels Central Station) where you will be able to work in an enthusiastic working atmosphere with great colleagues.

What do you bring?

• Master’s degree in Law and +- 10 years of experience in social law
• Bilingual NL/FR (with a good command of English)
• Rigorous work carried out independently

• Customer-oriented and business-minded
• Strong communication skills with diplomacy and assertiveness
• Excellent time management and strong writing skills
• Creative, pragmatic and solution-oriented
• A team player who collaborates easily with different profiles
